Member Boards of the OeLC offer Ontario Secondary Courses via eLearning. As a member of the OeLC, each Board opens all or most of their courses to students from all Member Boards. A list of eLearning offered by OeLC Boards each semester can be found on our Course Listing page. Please note that this list is updated on a regular basis so be sure to check back periodically.
To register for an eLearning course offered by a Member Board of the OeLC, students must:
- be currently attending a Member Board of the OeLC.
- be registered by a Guidance Counsellor in their school (or by another school or Board staff member). Please note that students and parents are not able to register directly under any circumstances.
There is no course fee for Ontario students to take eLearning courses offered by Member Boards of the OeLC. Those students, however, defined as ‘Other Pupils‘ by the Ontario Ministry of Education and, as such, are fee-paying students who are not exempt from tuition costs (e.g., International Students), are subject to the rates set by the OeLC Board hosting the course into which they are accepted.
Inquiries regarding eLearning course options via the OeLC may be made to your school Guidance Counsellor or to your Board`s eRegistrar or DeLC.
